Yarnell Road Trip {personal}

This past weekend Mike and I took our first road trip in the new Prius.  We loaded up the pups and made the six-hour drive to Yarnell, Arizona (averaging 50 mpg).  Yarnell is a little community up on top of a mountain outside of Phoenix.  Mike’s grandparents retired there thirty years ago.  Mike spent a lot of time there as a kid and has many fond memories of playing in the desert.  We met up with Mike’s mom, brother, and sister-in-law, Jamie.  We also saw a lot of Mike’s family including his 91 year old grandmother, his uncle, and two aunts.  Not to mention a few cousins he has not seen in many a moon.  Here are a few pictures from our weekend – and a fun Where’s WalDAN?
